A Simple Way to Read More Books

I had a friend ask me how I read so many books. It’s simple. I listen to them. I have had an Audible membership for over a year now and have taken full advantage of it. Listening to audio books gives me the advantage of maximizing my time. I can listen while driving, waiting in the carpool line, walking on the treadmill, taking a walk outside, or I will pop in my Airpods and listen while I clean or do laundry. Sometimes I even listen while I am getting ready in the morning. Don’t get me wrong, I love holding an actual book and reading while sitting in the sun or cozied up by the fireplace. But I can’t get in as much reading this way.
If you really want to read more books this year, I suggest finding a way to listen to books. My Audible account has worked for me.
My favorite Audible books I have listened to this year (remember, I am a personal development junkie so my list usually falls into that genre):
- Take Control of Your Life: How to Silence Fear and Win the Mental Game by Mel Robbins
- The 5 Second Rule by Mel Robbins
- Declutter Your Mind by Mark Scott
- High Performance Habits by Brendon Burchard
- Finish by Jon Acuff
- Kickass by Mel Robbins
- Outer Order, Inner Calm by Gretchen Rubin
How do you get in all your reading?
