Five Days of Air Fryer Recipes

I was blown away when a friend of mine said she cooks everything in her air fryer! I had no idea people used it for more than fish and onion rings! And since I have been trying to eat healthier I had not even considered it!

Luckily, my parents had an air fryer and let me borrow it for the week. Here is what I tried.

Day 1: Steak Bites

I based my recipe off of this Steak Bites & Mushrooms recipe from Best Recipe Box. I am not a fan of mushrooms so I left those out. I also substituted olive oil for the butter. I fried it at 400 degrees and found I only needed to do it for 12 minutes and flipped the steak every three minutes. The next time I do it I will probably fry them for 10 minutes because I like my steak closer to medium rare than to well done. But I will say….it was delicious, quick, and easy!! Two thumbs up!

Day 2: Green Beans

What? Six minutes and we are done? I love it! This recipe from www.recipesfromapantry.com was very simple. Next, I will try adding parmesan or more spices!

Day 3: Brussel Sprouts

I followed this recipe from Glue and Glitter and they were great! I have always had a hard time getting brussel sprouts to turn out and this made it easy and delicious.

Day 4: Green Beans Again!

I loved how easy it was to do the green beans I did it again but this time used garlic powder and parmesan and they were delicious!

Day 5: Hard Boiled Eggs

I love having hard boiled eggs on hand and my kids love them too. I followed this recipe from Courtney’s Sweets. Ten minutes in the air fryer and ten minutes in cold water and they were easy to peel and ready to eat!

Overall, the air fryer was awesome! Part of the 52 Weeks of Wonder Challenge is trying new things and I am really glad I tried this one! It was very easy to use and made cooking quick and easy. These five recipes were pretty basic to get me started. I am excited to try some more! The kids really want to try making donuts!
